“Mihikatha Surakimu” Art Competition 2026 Launched for World Environmental Day

In celebration of World Environmental Day, the America Sri Lanka Art Society and Canada Sri Lanka Art Society have jointly organized the “Mihikatha Surakimu” art and photography competition. The initiative aims to raise awareness about environmental protection through creative expression and visual storytelling.
The competition invites artists to showcase their talent while highlighting the importance of preserving nature. Ada Derana 24 has joined as the official media sponsor, ensuring wide coverage and public engagement for the event. Organizers expect the program to inspire both local and international artists to contribute towards environmental conservation through art.
