In Recognition of contribution to protect the Nature by The Nature Conservancy of America

COMMEMORATING WORLD WILDLIFE DAY 3 MARCH 2021

The America Sri Lanka Photographic Art Society of Los Angeles( ASPAS )and its President Suriya Jayalath Perera are honored by the Nature Conservancy of America for its continuing work in the conservation of wildlife and the preservation of the environment in the context of photography and tourism in Sri Lanka. A certificate of commendation was awarded to ASPAS and its president by the Nature Conservancy of America in recognition of its work including the recent series of WEBINARS exploring the beauty and richness of wildlife and marine life of Sri Lanka by highly acclaimed national and international academics and experts; the educational nature walks conducted for children; and its signature event, the annual photographic exhibition held at UCLA where Sri Lankan photographers display their award-winning nature photography. ASPAS is gratified and encouraged by the award to continue it’s work.
